How to get ITA through Alberta Express Entry Stream?

Determine your eligibility: Review the eligibility requirements for the Alberta Express Entry streams. Each stream has specific criteria for education, work experience, language proficiency, and other factors.

Create an Express Entry profile: If you meet the eligibility criteria for an Alberta PNP stream, you must create an Express Entry profile on the Government of Canada’s official website. Provide accurate information about your qualifications, work experience, language skills, and other relevant details.

Complete the AINP profile: Once you have an Express Entry profile, you must create a profile with the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program. This profile will be linked to your Express Entry profile.

Please wait for a Notification of Interest (NOI): Alberta regularly reviews the Express Entry pool and may issue Notifications of Interest to candidates who meet their specific selection criteria. If you receive an NOI, it means Alberta is interested in your application and you may be invited to apply for a provincial nomination.

Apply: If you receive an invitation to apply (ITA) from Alberta, you will have a specific timeframe to submit your complete application. Follow the instructions provided by the AINP and submit all the required documents, such as proof of education, work experience, language proficiency, and other supporting documents.

Wait for the nomination: After submitting your application, the AINP will assess it and make a decision. If your application is approved, you will receive a provincial nomination certificate from Alberta.

Update your Express Entry profile: Once you obtain a provincial nomination, update your Express Entry profile to reflect this nomination. This will give you additional points under the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).

Receive an invitation to apply for permanent residence: With a provincial nomination, you will have an improved CRS score, increasing your chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency in Canada through the federal Express Entry draw.

What is the limit of 2023 for Alberta PNP Draw/Nomination?

Citizenship Immigration Canada sets the Alberta PNP Draw limit, which is subject to adjustment in response to changes in the work market and other considerations. The frequency and amount of draws may also change depending on the demand and availability of nominations in the various AINP streams.

2023, as of June 12, 2023. The cap on nominations for the Alberta PNP in 2023 is 9750. And so far in 2023, 4583 nomination certificates have been issued.
