What is the work experience requirements for French Speaking Skilled Workers Program?

• Candidates must have at least one year of continuous, full-time employment experience (or part-time equivalent) in a National Occupation Classification (NOC) Type/Level 0, A, or B occupation within five years before receiving the NOI from the OINP.
• Full-time work means working at least 30 hours per week for one year, totaling at least 1,560 hours of paid employment.
• It’s important to note that work experience that adds up to 1,560 hours but is obtained in less than a year or through volunteer work does not count as valid work experience.
• Continuous work means there should be no gaps between periods of employment. While candidates can have back-to-back jobs with the same or different employers, they must have at least one year of work experience in the same NOC occupation as declared in their Express Entry profile.
• Part-time equivalent work can also be considered, requiring at least 15 hours of work per week for two years or at least 30 hours of work per week in multiple concurrent jobs for one year.
• The activities performed in the job must match the lead statement for the occupation and the main duties outlined in the NOC.

What is the application process for Ontario French Skilled Worker Visa?

The application process for the Ontario French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream follows these steps:

• First, ensure you meet the eligibility criteria for either the Federal Skilled Worker Class or the Canadian Experience Class.
• Create an Express Entry profile, which is a system to manage applications for permanent residence.
